STAFFORDSHIRE'S Unicorn's Trophy hopes were all but ended by Oxfordshire at Stone on Sunday.
After being handed a 153-run drubbing by Herefordshire in their opening Group Four match, they suffered another heavy defeat on the one-day scene.
Oxfordshire swatted their way to 319-9 off 50 overs, despite Leek skipper Greg Willott bowling economically for his county.
Willott sent down nine overs at a cost of 24 runs, two of them maidens, and had the satisfaction of removing opener Richard Khaufman (8).
But Willott didn't do so well with the bat, being bowled after scoring just eight runs.
