A HOST of talented acts have been booked for a weekly music slot at a town centre pub.

The Cock Inn, Leek, is becoming an ever-growing popular venue for music lovers with its 'Saturday Night Line Up'. Popular local musicians Mikey Rhead and Steve Giddings have already got pub revellers' toes tapping at the Derby Street venue. This Saturday (February 8) The Fabulous Fighting Cocks featuring members of Leek Band The Fires will be on stage; and on Saturday, February 15, it will be The Acoustic Roosters featuring Steve Rhead and Luke Hodgkins. Mikey Rhead will be back on Saturday, February 22 with a little help from his friends; and The Bluesmakers (formerly known as The Johnny Waterhouse Blues Band) will be on The Cock's stage on Saturday, March 1. Also on Friday (February 7) at 9pm Midnight Magic, a tribute to Albert Collins, will be performing at The Cock Inn.
