A CAST of West End vocalists will be providing a festive treat at Buxton's Pavilion Gardens this month.

Returning to Buxton, with a brand new show, Christmas Crooners features many of the Christmas favourites of Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole and Ol' Blue Eyes himself, Frank Sinatra.A fantastic cast of West End Singers, backed by the superb and talented Jazz All-Stars perform over 30 wellknown Christmas hits including The Christmas Song, Little Drummer Boy, White Christmas and many swing arrangements of Christmas hymns and songs including God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen, Deck the Halls and Silent Night, and many more festive favourites. Staged in the style of Andy Williams Christmas Shows, this brilliant production comes complete with a stunning décor – Christmas trees, a rocking chair and of course a lovely warm fireplace – just right for roasting those chestnuts! – as The Crooners give the audience a show full of swinging Christmas cheer and witty banter. Christmas Crooners will be at The Pavilion Arts Centre on Sunday, December 23 at 7.30pm.

Meanwhile the Buxton Opera House are hosting their annual pantomime, this year with Peter Pan starring Louis Emerick (Brookside, Last of the Summer Wine) as Captain Hook and Glen Davies (Mr Prank in CBBC's Bear Behaving Badly) as Smee.
