Cheadle pedestrian breaks ankle in High Street collision

Officers are appealing for witnesses after a road traffic collision in Cheadle.

The incident happened at around 10pm on Saturday 18 January in High Street and involved a small silver vehicle and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a 64-year-old man from Cheadle, suffered an ankle injury.

The driver of the vehicle stopped and helped the man home but no details were exchanged.

At the time of the incident it was not thought that the man required medical treatment.

However, he later attended hospital and found his ankle was broken.

Witnesses to the incident are asked to contact PC Bridgett Kelly at Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 230 of January 20.
