Cheadle couple chose engagement spot for honeymoon

THE wedding of Gemma Anne Thursfield and Mark John Halsted took place on September 21 at St Giles RC Church in Cheadle, followed by a reception at Alton Castle for 180 Guests.

The bride, a Projects Officer, is the eldest daughter of Steven Thursfield of Narrow Lane, Denstone, and Annette Campbell, of Coleridge Drive, Cheadle.

The bridegroom, an Electrician, is the youngest son of Barry and Jude Halsted of Aspen Croft, Stafford.

Maid of Honour was Lisa Thursfield – Bride’s Sister – bridesmaids were Nichola Millward – Groom’s Sister, Lucy Thomas – Bride’s Best Friend, Kennedy Thursfield – Bride’s Cousin.

Flower Girls were Amellia Hadley – Bride’s Niece, Maisie and Alyssa Millward – Groom’s Nieces.

Best Men were Jim Millward and Barry Halsted.

Groomsmen were Tim Hadley, Tom Stewart and Niall Hassett.

The couple honeymooned in Costa Adeie, Tenerife, which is where the couple got engaged, and have set up home in Stafford.
