A choral society will be performing at a college in their town later this month.
Cheadle Choral Society will be at Painsley Catholic College on two nights on April 25 and 26.
Over the past four years the society has brought a host of new musical items to Cheadle. This year as well as new pieces, the programme will include items from much further back and also from not so long ago.
A spokesperson for the Cheadle Choral Society said: "Followers of the society may recall the days when the society staged the comic operettas of William Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan.
"They may also recall the concerts when there were solo instrumental items by local musicians.
"Audience members are being invited to enjoy a free glass of wine in a friendly informal atmosphere and be entertained with a varied programme.
"Young or old, you will not be disappointed by this year's concert. The music will range from Delius to Gershwin and Cole Porter to Elgar. Then of course don't miss the comic songs.
"The whole evening promises to be a musical delight."
