DESPERATE pooch Gordon is still waiting for a new home – four years after he was abandoned.

The Staffordshire bull terrier was found wandering the streets of Tean in 2010.

Now volunteers and staff at Cheadle and District Animal Welfare Society are desperately trying to find the dog a new home in time for Christmas.

A spokesman for the society said: "Gordon has been with us for ages.
