Cats in the care of Cheadle Animal Welfare Society have once again enjoyed a special sleep-over.

Invited by Julie and Trevor Jones to spend a luxury weekend at Valley View Cattery, Hazels Cross in Kingsley, the cats, who are in need of forever-homes, enjoyed being spoilt at the weekend.

While on their weekend away, on Saturday (March 8) and Sunday, each cat enjoyed the luxury of their own thermostatically controlled heated pen together with a covered outside run so that they could go outside whenever they wished.

The felines were also groomed each day and had the personal attention of Julie for cuddles and lots of love.

Margaret Russell, from Cheadle Animal Welfare Society, said: "The purpose of this weekend away was to enable people to come and visit the cats to see how stunning they all are and hopefully help them to find new homes.

"People could also take the opportunity to visit this beautiful cattery with a view to boarding their own cats while they are away on holiday."

The cats which enjoyed this luxurious weekend included Magic a stunning black fluffy Tom, and Eric a long haired ginger Tom.
