POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a restaurant in Leek was broken into.
Officers said they received a report of a burglary at the Simla Restaurant on Smithfield Centre off Haywood Street at around 5.25pm on Thursday, August 15.
Offenders forced entry during the day and stole food stock including chicken, onions and spices.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 573 of August 15.
