A LEEK author has visited his town's library to sign copies of his second solo book about the market town.
Neil Collingwood has written 'Leek Through The Ages' which follows 'Leek through Time' which he published last year.
Neil carried out a book signing event at Leek Library last Wednesday.
Neil said of his latest book: "It is called Leek Through The Ages and is a sort of Volume II to the one that came out last Christmas.
"It is the same format, with an old black and white photo on each page together with a new colour photograph taken by me of the same scene and a caption.
"The book contains a section on pubs, one on mills, one on monuments - Challinor Fountain, stone lion and the Market Cross - and then a miscellany of images including of houses, shops and street scenes.
"Quite a number of the images in my latest book have never been published before."
Anyone interested in buying a copy of 'Leek Through The Ages' can call the author direct on 01538 386606.
