LEEK Town manager Lee Casswell has agreed terms with experienced striker Liam Shotton.

The club is seeking his international clearance from the FA, now that the player has returned from playing for Hougang United in Hong Kong.

Shotton, 30, whose brother Ryan plays for Stoke City, has also enjoyed spells at Kidsgrove, Nantwich and Stafford Rangers.

Meanwhile, Casswell has been on the trail of a central defender who was expected to figure in Blues friendly at Rocester last night

THE NEW club office at Harrison Park has been open for business at the recent pre-season friendlies.

With the club shop having moved online, Blues officials have taken the opportunity to use the area previously used by the shop to open up a spacious new club office.

Chairman Andy Wain said: "Due to the size of the club – with juniors, crèche, academy and football in the community all expanding – the existing office was way too small for what we needed."

"Now, we have a spacious area in which to work, for storage and for the production of the programme on match days."

Supporters wishing to purchase or collect season tickets or apply to join the monthly draw can call in at the new office on match days.

Small items of club merchandise such as hats, scarves, pens, badges etc will now be sold in the Social Club.
