LEAGUE officials have been forced to rearrange Leek Town's away fixture at Carlton Town yet again after the Millers reached the semi-finals of the Doodson Cup.

The match was originally scheduled for Wednesday, March 12 but, following Carlton's progress in the cup, Leek's game at The Bill Stokeld Stadium has now been re-arranged for Wednesday, April 16 just 72 hours before Blues' potentially vital clash with current leaders Coalville Town.

Leek Town defender Ryan Dicker is expected to recover from a head wound to take his place in the side to face Brigg Town at Harrison Park next Saturday.

Meanwhile, former Leek defender Ricky Bridge has joined Chester City from Newcastle Town. Bridge began his career at Manchester City and then Port Vale before becoming part of Leek's youth set-up. He joined Leek in July 2011 after spending three seasons at Kidsgrove Athletic and made 50 appearances, scoring just one goal.
