A SUNDAY afternoon music club at a village pub is celebrating it's first birthday this weekend.
Popular music act Lil' Jim will be back at the Marchington Music Club on Sunday (January 19) between 5pm and 7.30pm which will take place at it's regular venue of The Dog & Partridge.
Landlord at the Marchington drinking venue, Paul Needham, said: "Quite an exciting year it's going to be, courtesy of our new found working relationships with the Bearded Theory and Acoustic Festival of UK. We will be in the unique position to play host to acts that our audiences would not generally associate with our low key club through the new ties and hope to bring some top notch stuff in months to come."
Lil' Jim will be returning to the Marchington Music Club under the guise of Blackwater to help Paul and his team celebrate the music club's first year anniversary.
Other acts already lined up to play this year include: Roughneck Riot on February 2; Swamp Trash on February 9; Massa on February 16; Mojosa on February 23; David Faulkner on March 2; The Broadcasters on March 9; Twoman Ting on March 16; Darktown Jubilee on March 23; The Sone on March 30.
