FANCY seeing a live show or play but are put off by the queue at the box office or the booking fee charge?

At Cheadle Library you can now buy tickets for performances at the Regent Theatre and the Victoria Hall in Hanley and come away with the ticket to the show of your choice in your hand.

Some of the forthcoming attractions at the Regent include Agatha Christies Black Coffee, a country house style mystery; Strictly Come Dancing's Brendan Cole in Licence to Thrill; Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat; Susan Boyle; and Lesley Joseph in 'Hot Flush'.

At the Victoria Hall performances by the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra; Daniel O'Donnell; comedian Ed Byrne in 'Roaring Forties'; and the Manchester Camerata are scheduled in the coming weeks.

The service is available on Mondays from 10am until 5pm; and Tuesday to Friday 9am until 5pm.

For more information contact Christine Green, Cheadle Library, 15A-17 High St, Cheadle, Stoke on Trent ST10 1 AA. 01538 483864.
