A TRIBUTE band will be performing at a town's arts centre this weekend in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Rolling Stones coming to the market town.
Jumping Jacks from Flash will be at The Foxlowe Arts Centre on Friday (December 20) at 8pm.
A spokesman for the Foxlowe Arts Centre explained: "In 1963 the Rolling Stones played at Leek Town Hal.l on December 24.
"Well we couldn't let that pass without a bit of a fuss, could we.
"So to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Stones in Leek we've got some of Leek's finest musicians together to form our own Rolling Stones tribute band – the Jumping Jacks from Flash playing on Friday. December 20.
"They will be covering loads of the Stones' early work in the first half, break for pie and peas, and then for the second half some of later Stones stuff.
"Maybe Keef will make an appearance?"
Admission for the Jumping Jacks gig at The Foxlowe Arts Centre, at the top of Market Place, will be £10.
