  • Solo, who was saved from the 'knackers yard' by Leek-based company, Call of the Wild Productions.

  • Hazel, and her bunny pal Snowdrop, both owned by Isla Kidd from Leek, raised £870 for AYME, the Association of Young People with ME, by doing a sponsored bunny hop.

  • William, pictured here with his new pals Myia and Allie, was adopted and saved from the barbaric Thai dog meat trade by Leek woman Tracie Tyson, via the charity Soi Dog Foundation.

  • Dougals Den, in Leek, played host to a special Santa Paws grotto, where pooches could have their photograph taken with the festive character. Pictured is Lynn Haigh as an elf with Santa and one of the visiting dogs.

  • Carol Higgs and Mo, from Wetley Rocks, came out tops in their catagory at the CSJ CanineMax CaniX World Championships held at Pembrey Country Park, in October.
