New year new activities

A RANGE of activities are on offer for those who want to try out something new for the New Year.

Arts and crafts, cookery, photography and drama are all being made available at the Haregate Community Centre in Leek by Elite (enabling living independently today and everyday).

The Arts and Craft sessions, which run on Thursday from 10am until noon, are set to include media such as painting, drawing, 3D modelling, flower arranging and much more.

These sessions cost £5 and cater for both disabled adults and their carers, although Elite says all are welcome. There are also cookery sessions at the same time at the same venue for a cost of £7; and from 2.30pm until 4.30pm there is Photography and Life Stories sessions.

On Fridays at The Foxlowe Arts Centre, the Elite team is offering Drama sessions from 10am until noon. For further information acall Elite on 01782 565723 or email info@elitestaffordshire.co.uk.
