YOUNGSTERS at a Cheadle school have been getting Oriental. Pupils from St Giles Catholic Primary School, were given special cookery lessons last week to help celebrate the Chinese New Year.

The children also joined in on making paper lanterns to mark the start of the Year of the Horse.

The preparing of the culinary delights, of noodles, prawn crackers and other popular Chinese dishes, was led by Deb Reece from Morrisons in Cheadle.
