THE first acts have been announced for The Acoustic Festival of Britain 2014.

The talented acts include Fairport Convention, Steve Harley, Tir Na Nog, The Animals, Quill, The Ben Waters Big Band, Marcus Bonafonti, Ian Prowse (Pele), Polly and the Billets, The Ukulele Theatre, The Rebelle, Arthur Kitchener, James Warren (Skiffle), Dan Walsh the Banjo Man, and Adam Palma.

Also appearing will be a few favourites from 2013 including Wildfire Folk, Sons of Clogger, Richard Taylor, Pelico and The Daisy Chain Quartet.

The Radio Two favourite of the moment, Emma Stevens, will also be at the ever-growing festival which takes place at Uttoxeter Racecourse.

Earlybird Tickets for the Acoustic Festival of Britain 2014, which will run from Friday, May 30, until Sunday, June 1, are now on sale for £100, and there is an installment payment plan available.

There is camping available at the festival, as well as grass and hard-standing areas available for caravans and campervans.
