Staff at a tattoo parlour have been raising cash for charity.

There were some special charity focused tattoos available for customers of The Old Smithy Tattoo Parlour (Hollie May Tattoos) in Leek on Sunday.

The event, which also saw staff selling home-made cakes, raised funds for Prostate Cancer UK.

The charity push was organised in conjunction with James Henwood, a friend of staff at the parlour, who is currently kayaking around the entire coastline of Sweden to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK and Willen Hospice in memory of his late grandfather.

The special tattoos on offer at the parlour on Saturday included cancer ribbons, butterflies, animals, and more.

More than £300 was raised at the event.
