Lots of canine friends took part in a community fund-raiser at the weekend.

A Fun Dog Show was staged at The Pavilion in Oakamoor, near Cheadle, on Sunday, July 20.

Proceeds from the event, which was sponsored by Oscar Pet Food, are set to go to the Cheadle Animal Welfare Society.

Classes for the dog show included Best Rescue, Prettiest Bitch, Most Handsome Dog, Most Appealing Eyes, Shiniest Coat and Loveable Rogue.

There was also two Obedience Classes and rosettes and prizes awarded up to fifth place.

The event, which was run by Karen Landon of Churnet Valley Dog Training.

People attending the event also enjoyed a number of stalls and refreshments.
