Easter fun for visitors in Leek town centre

VISITORS to Leek had a feast of Easter fun activities on offer at the weekend.

Good Friday and Easter Saturday saw lots of Easter focused activities take place in Leek town centre.

There was a Totally Locally Easter Egg Hunt on both days, where participants were able to pick up a Trail Map from a number of independent shops and follow clues around the town before being able to pick up their free chocolate prize.

There were also Easter-related workshops and activities taking place at a number of independent shops including Cabbage Rose in St Edward Street.

Staff at the Nicholson Institute hosted an Easter Bonnet Making Workshop on Saturday, while there was also a Music and Motors event in the town centre.

Saturday also saw the monthly Fine Foods Market in Leek, along with the weekly Antiques and Collectable's Market.

Additionally there was Totally Locally stalls showcasing local artisan and makers wares in the Market Place, and market stalls in Derby Street.
