Rudyard Sailability Dragon Boat Race 10am until around 3.30pm at Rudyard Lake, near Leek. First race at 10.45am and then throughout the day. More teams still welcome to take part. Lots of activities for all the family during the event including a children's race at lunchtime, and lots of activities around Rudyard Lake on the day including barbecue, cakes, café, tombola, face-painting, and more. WW1 Commemorative Garden Party Midday-4pm at The Travellers Rest, Leekbrook, near Leek. Proceeds to the Army Benevolent Fund. Lots of fun for all the family including tombola, cake stall, rabbit racing, sweet stall, face painting, prize draw, vintage stall, and bouncy castles. Free admission.

Wilkestonbury 2.30pm onwards at The Wilkes Head, St Edward Street, Leek. Lots of musical talent on stage in the car park of the pub. Free event but admission by ticket only available from the bar of the Wilkes.

Monday July 7

Creation Station Every Monday at 9.45am and 11.15am at Spout Coffee Shop, St Edward Street, Leek. (Babies and toddlers). Plus every Wednesday at 10.30am at Beresford Children's Centre (Babies only - up to 18 months). Different arts and crafts activities each week. Cost: £4.50 a class per family. Health Day 11am-5pm at The Guild Hall, Tape Street, Cheadle. The Patient Groups of the Cheadle Doctors Surgeries are hosting a health event to raise awareness of services and to promote good health. The event will be attended by more than 30 health, community and voluntary organisations.
