War time tunes for the next Abbotsholme Arts Society concert

A PROGRAMME of songs entitled revolving around war time will be performed at the next Abbotsholme Arts Society concert.

Entitled 'The Soldier – from Severn to Somme' the concert will be given by Baritone Christopher Maltman on Friday, February 28, at 8pm in the chapel of Abbotsholme School, near Uttoxeter.

Christopher will be accompanied at the piano by Joseph Middleton.

The programme commemorates the outbreak of the First World War in 1914.
