Rocky Road music band at Live Life Let's Party in Leek

A FIVE-PIECE covers band from Stafford will be helping to keep the party going at a large-scale fund-raising event in Leek this month.

The Rocky Road Band will be performing at the evening part of the Live Life Let's Party extravaganza on Saturday, June 28 at Leek Hockey Club.

The Rocky Road Band are a contemporary five piece covers band based in Stafford, playing popular music from the 50's to the present day. The band are acclaimed to provide a full-on energetic sound to keep audiences dancing all night.

The band has performed at a variety of venues and their set list consists of: I Gotta Feelin by Black Eyed Peas, Locked Out Of Heaven by Bruno Mars, Forget You by Cee Lo Green, Get Lucky by Daft Punk, Smiley Faces by Gnarls Barkley, Sex on Fire by Kings of Leon, Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke, Gimme Some Lovin' by Spencer Davis Group, Stuck in the Middle (with you) by Steelers Wheel, Dakota by Stereophonics, to name but a few.

Live Life Let's Party, on Saturday, June 28, has been organised to raise for two Leek charities: Jo's Dreams and Love4Leah.

There will be a Family Fun Day between 10am and 4pm; followed by a Live Band and Auction Night from7pm until midnight.

The day event will have a whole host of activities for all the family to enjoy including: face painting, bouncy castle, gunge tank, penalty shoot-out, rodeo, henna and glitter tattoo's, teddy tombola, and raffle, to name but a few.

Leek singer Fielding Talks will be starting the party for the evening event which will be admission by tickets.

They are priced at £5 and are available from Over The Rainbow in Sheepmarket, Leek.
