A NEW exhibition of creative works is to be unveiled at an arts centre next week.

The next display of colourful works at the Foxlowe Arts Centre will be unveiled at a launch event at the Market Place venue next Friday, May 2.

The exhibition, which is entitled 'Are you listening carefully?' will then run at the Foxlowe Arts Centre until June 21.

'Are you listening carefully?' is a collection of new work by the artists based at Unit Twelve, in Stafford, inspired by music that is important to them personally, music that speaks directly to them, music that demands active listening and provokes reaction, from singing along and strutting to work to the hushed intimate moments that echo deep within the chambers of their hearts.

Artists who have taken part in this exhibition include: Jennifer Collier, Louise Wilson, Emily Notman, Julia Jowett, Brady & Proud, Fran Buxton and Print Garage.

For more information on the artists based at Unit Twelve, visit the website: www.unittwelve.co.uk. For more information about what's coming up at the Foxlowe Arts Centre go online to www.foxloweartscentre.org.uk.
