AN ENERGETIC band will be providing the live music at a town centre pub this weekend.

Leek's own One Million Fingers will be showcasing their talents at The Black Swan in Sheepmarket, Leek on Saturday (June 8).

The indie, rock and pop band, which formed in 2006, consists of Simon Ainsworth on guitar and vocals, Joseph Perry on bass on vocals, Stuart Gilman on lead guitar and Luke Brightmore drums and vocals.

They are a young functions band with a fast-growing reputation thanks to their polished, energetic and entertaining live performances. Despite averaging in their early 20's, band members are highly competent musicians with experience beyond their ages. They have also clocked an impressive number of gigging hours together, creating that special chemistry which helps turn out a good night. Audience members will sure to be up and dancing, or at least toe tapping from their seats.
