Police appeal for witnesses after series of diesel thefts in Leek

There has been another incident of diesel theft in Leek.

The Post & Times reported last week that the police had been notified of an incident of diesel theft at a building site in the Haregate Estate of Leek on July 1.

Two further incidents happened at the Staffordshire County Council's Highways Department in Ladderedge, Leek.

These occurred overnight of both July 3 and July 7.

Police have this week, confirmed that a fourth incident, within the month of July, has been reported to them.

The theft of diesel from a number of vehicles happened at the Fowlchurch Depot, in Fowlchurch Road, Leek between 6pm on Wednesday, July 16, and 5am on Thursday, July 17.
