A FATHER-OF-TWO has been found dead in his flat in Leek.
Police officers discovered 47-year-old Andrew Bickley in his home in Sheepmarket on Wednesday, June 18.
Andrew was father to two boys, aged eight and 10, and worked at Tennants Fine Chemicals Ltd in Macclesfield Road, Leek.
Work colleague Chris Swinson, who lives in Leek, said: "Andrew was a chemical engineer. He did one or two jobs in our department but mainly worked elsewhere on the site.
"He was a really nice bloke – a great guy.
"Everyone is in shock that he has died; it's just terrible. He will be missed."
A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: "We were called to a report of a sudden death, of a man aged 47 years, at a flat in Sheepmarket, Leek, on Wednesday, June 18.
"Officers are carrying out enquiries for a report for HM Coroner. It is not suspicious.
"The man has been identified as Andrew Bickley, 47 years old, from Sheepmarket, Leek."
