A GUIDED walk is on offer at a scenic venue this weekend.

The ‘Fruit and Fungai of Autumn’ will take place on Sunday, September 29, with participants meeting at the Visitor Centre at Tittesworth Reservoir near Leek.

The event, which is being led by the CVLLP officer, Richard Whiting, will be a moderate five-mile walk around the reservoir looking for autumn’s wild harvest of fruit and fungi.

The walk will end at the start venue at around 1.30pm.

Participants are advised to wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear. No booking is required and there is no fee to take part, but there is a parking charge at the venue.

For further information call Richard on 07960 875157 or email him at r.whiting@staffswildlife.org.uk.
