So far the Ascent programme has completed 32 family homes across the Staffordshire Moorlands, and will look to complete a further 270 homes by the end of March 2015.

The programme will also see a new community centre being built in the Haregate area of Leek.

The Horsecroft farm development will see 35 new homes built on the site and two existing properties refurbished, with six homes for affordable rent, 21 homes for shared equity and 10 for outright sale. Additional landscaping of the Ball Haye Green recreational ground is scheduled to take place once the development has completed in March 2015.
