FUSION Performance Arts, based in Tean, has successfully secured funding from Staffordshire County Council to create a professional piece of documentary theatre which explores residents’ memories of the Staffordshire Moorlands.

'Memories are made of this' will be performed at The Venue at Tean in February 2014 and is an intergenerational project which collates and showcases memories from Moorlands residents of all ages past and present.

Creative Directors Eleanor Bott and Justine Cope are looking for residents with interesting stories to tell about life in the Moorlands from industry to folk tales and significant events or characters.

The production will be presented in a verbatim style using testimonies of residents, recordings, photographs and film clips and aims to keep the Moorlands alive by disseminating some of the untold stories to new audiences and supporting and embracing our local heritage.

Anyone who would like to take part in the project by sharing their story, photograph or memory can contact Ellie: 07504 610071 or Justine: 07515285236 visit site:www.fusionperformanceart s.co.uk
