A MUSIC duo from Leek are on the lookout for local dancers to join them for an arena stage performance.
Marcus and Lis Birks have become the new faces for the eighties and nineties act Cappella and will be performing in Belgium in April.
The married couple perform both as The Cameleonz and Cappella. and have been touring the UK and beyond with their stage talents for a number of years.
Cappella was an Italian Eurodance act formed in 1987 by producer Gianfranco Bortolotti. The act went through a number of line-up changes over the years but was most successful in the early 1990s when it was fronted by British performers Kelly Overett and Rodney Bishop. Their biggest hit was "U Got 2 Let the Music", which reached number 2 in the UK in 1993.
Now, Marcus and Lis are the new faces for the act, which is still managed by Gianfranco Bortolotti.
Marcus said: "We have so far done two shows as Cappella. One was the Mega Tent event in Amsterdam with an audience of 5,000 people. We are currently performing the old music of the act but there is a vision of taking it into the future with new music.
"We are still performing as The Cameleonz. 2013 was probably our busiest year. We have our first arena show as Cappella on April 12 for the 'We Love Nineties' show in Belgium.
"We are now on the lookout for local dancers to come along to that show with us. We want to give local people the opportunity to come along and experience this with us.
"We have done quite a few shows in Europe and if this arena show goes well - it will hopefully be the first of many."
Lis and Marcus are on the look out for dancers aged 16 or over and who have a valid passport to be able to travel abroad.
Marcus added: "They need to have a decent level of dancing skill. The style is nineties dance and EDM. We ideally would like to find four dancers. Two who can come with us for the April show and the other two can come with us the next time.
We think the show will benefit from having dancers and it's a good opportunity for local dancers who would like the experience."
