Appeal for stolen motorbikes taken from a farm near Leek

OFFICERS from Staffordshire Moorlands Local Policing Team (LPT) are appealing for information following the theft of three motorcycles in Leek.

Between 10pm on Monday , February 3 and 6am on Tuesday, February 4 unknown offender(s) have entered a secure shed at a farm off the A523, Macclesfield Road.

The first bike is described as a 2004 Royal Blue Yamaha YZ250F, with white number 24 on the front and side.

The second bike is a 2007/8 bright red Honda DRF100, four-stroke engine.

The third bike is a Royal blue Yamaha Y280, two-stroke engine with gold front handlebars.

Anyone with information, or who has been offered similar items for sale, is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 78 of February 4.

Alternatively they can contact independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
