A MUSIC festival staged at a town centre pub has been hailed as a success.
The Roebuck in Leek played host to 'Alecoustic' last month.
Festival co-organiser and promoter JP Parsons said: "The Alecoustic festival pulled crowds of over 400 people to The Roebuck in Derby Street.
"All the acts which played were very well received and particular crowd pleasers consisted of Angellis, Mick Squalor who preformed most of his set on a table surrounded by the adoring festival attendees, and Jonah Matranga, who came all the way from the USA to play Alecoustic and is now planning to return to the Roebuck in October as part of his UK tour.
"Local artists Venn Goodwin, Dom Morgan and Autumn Lungs also impressed the crowd that had travelled from as far as Sheffield and Derby to see what Alecoustic had to offer.
"As the sun went down and the stage lights started to glow, there was a great festival feel as hundreds waited for the festival Headliner Dave McPhereson to take the stage.
"Dave certainly gave the crowd what they wanted.
"Dave himself, told us that he loved the atmosphere of this intimate event and will also be making a appearance at future events.
"I, along with The Roebuck manager Nick Bradstreet, would like to thank everybody who turned up to support Alecoustic. We have already started planning to raise the bar for Alecoustic 2015."
