Staff from a business in Leek will be at a prestigious food show this week for the first time.
With 4,443 entries from around the world, visitors could perhaps be forgiven if they felt overwhelmed at the record range of cheeses on show at this year's Nantwich International Cheese Awards.
However, this year for the first time Adams Foods, the firm behind leading cheese brands such as Pilgrims Choice, MU and Lake District Cheddar, is set to inspire and inform those visiting the show by holding a series of 'Meet the Experts' cheese master classes in the Cheese Marquee.
Throughout the show day today, Wednesday, July 30, Nick Hallam and Richard Newell, Adams Foods Master Cheese Graders, will provide an insight into 'What makes a good cheese?' and guide visitors through the art and science of grading cheese from the mild and creamy to the extra mature flavours.
The duo will enable the public to sample cheeses, and will select the ultimate Christmas Cheese Board and suggest wines to go with it.
Adams Foods' Development Chef, Paul Jones, will also use cheese to create some meals and snacks during the event.

Adams Foods employs around 700 at its factory in Sunnyhills Road on the Barnfield industrial estate, Leek.
