A 77-YEAR-OLD man was taken to hospital after being in collision with a vehicle in Derby Street, Leek last Friday.
Police officers were called to the incident, which took place just before 2.45pm.
A spokesman said that the incident involved a pedestrian who had been in collision with a vehicle.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman confirmed the man, who has not been named, was transported to hospital in Stoke-on-Trent following the incident.
He said: "We were called at 2.45pm on Friday December 13 to the junction of Market Street and Derby Street. One patient, was treated by a crew for shoulder and hand injuries.
"He was taken to the Leek Moorlands Hospital, but was then transferred to the University Hospital in Stoke for further treatment."
