5 Leek restaurants to take your partner to this Valentine's Day

We are just a couple of weeks away from Valentine's Day, and if you're still wondering where to book a table for an unforgettable meal with your loved one, we're here to help. We've picked out five restaurants in Leek offering special Valentine's meals that weekend.

Where? Primo Piano , ST13 5HW.

When can you book a table? Friday 14th February.

How much? £30 per person.

What can you expect? A special Valentine’s menu of Italian cuisine, starting with the chef’s complimentary entrée. A choice of starters includes such dishes as slice of venison liver and poached pear pate. Mains include fried fillet of seabass with sundried tomato, prawns, smoked salmon wrapped courgette fritter and red pesto finished with chargrilled lobster tail. Dessert and optional extra coffee finishes off the meal.

Where? The Roebuck , ST13 5AB.

When can you book a table? Friday 14th February.

How much? From £15.95 per person.

What can you expect? Either a two or three course meal with the option add on of a glass of fizz. A choice of starters includes grilled black pudding wrapped in oatcake with a peppercorn sauce. Mains include pan fried breast of pheasant served with honey roasted vegetables, mash and reducurrant jus. You can finish the meal on a choice of dessert much as warmed chocolate fudge brownie served with ice cream.

Where? The Retreat , ST13 8EU.

When can you book a table? Friday 14th February 5pm-9pm.

How much? £17.99 per person or £50 per couple to include use of spa facilities.

What can you expect? A three course candlelit dinner, including starters such as sweet potato and coconut soup served with rustic bread, such mains as beef bourgignon served with creamy mashed potato and dessert such as sticky toffee pudding.

Where? The Red Lion Inn , ST10 2NU.

When can you book a table? Friday 14th February.

How much? £29.95 per person. £10 per person cash deposit required to secure a table.

What can you expect? Delicious homemade food served in a countryside pub setting, and a rose for your loved one. The meal starts with a glass of sparkling wine and a selection of bread and oils. A choice of starters follows, with such options as baked brie served with rosemary & honey dressing, toasted almonds and crispy garlic bread. Mains include Thai green vegetable curry with Thai infused rice and prawn crackers. All mains are served with a choice of rustic chips, mash, new potatoes or Dauphinoise potatoes and a medley of vegetables or salad. A trio of desserts to share will be served before coffee and chocolates finish the meal.

Where? Qarma , ST13 5BQ.

When can you book a table? Friday 14th February.

How much? Prices vary depending on meal choices.

What can you expect? A glass of juice or wine on arrival with canapés followed by poppadoms and a selection of chutneys and pickle. Then follows a selection of Indian starters and a choice of mains such as the ‘Qarma’s Lovers Delight’; a choice of either chicken or lamb marinated delicately with home-made Qarma spices served within a spiced mince meal sauce and locally sourced onions. Dessert choices include the option of a feast of traditional Indian sweets.
